The poolife® brand offers a range of shock products to meet your every need and help maintain healthy water by killing bacteria, controlling algae and destroying organic contaminants. These shock products comply with EPA dosage recommendations for shock products (i.e. deliver between 5 and 10 ppm of available chlorine per recommended dosage). poolife® calcium hypochlorite based shock products will NOT cause overstabilization – even with prolonged use.
poolife® Non-Chlorine Oxidizer
Over time, swimming pool water is contaminated with a variety of organic molecules. The sources of the contamination are the bathers and the environment. If not treated periodically, these contaminants will accumulate and can lead to any number of problems including unwanted tastes and odors, excessive consumption of sanitizer , eye irritation and difficulty in maintaining clear pool water. Oxidation of pool water with poolife® Non-Chlorine Oxidizer will destroy soluble organic contaminants and assist in the maintenance of sparkling water.

How to Use for Start Up
Apply 1 pound of Non-chlorine Oxidizer per 10,000 gallons of pool water once every week . Pools with heavy bather loads and commercial pools may require double the normal dosage. Swimming may resume 15 minutes after application.

Compatible With
Compatible with Chlorine and Bromine Sanitizing systems and with Baquacil Pools for treating certain pool problems such as cloudy water, algae or water mold.
